The alternative media have done as much to reinforce the lawlessness of state officials,  corporations and courts as the mainstream media. How they have done this, and why, are topics in discussion in this interview with Canada’s leading broadcaster for brains which haven’t been immunocompromised by fear and faking.

In the book published on February 1, the story is told of a court case against government officials to stop their illegal ban on citizens returning home. No state or country in the world has adopted such a policy towards its own citizens during the Covid-19 pandemic – except for Australia. This is the first book to be published worldwide revealing how a group of politicians can exploit the corona virus pandemic to wield emergency powers illegally; destroy parliament; deceive the press; manipulate the law courts; spend vast amounts of state money to aggrandize themselves; and spread false science and public terror to cover their tracks.

Since publication day, the Judicial Commission of Victoria has opened an investigation of how  audio records of the court case were either lost or destroyed by the presiding judge. The commission, headed by a board of active judges, is directed by Alexis Eddy. She has been at this job since 2019; before that,  she was a lawyer for state organs reporting to parliament on police corruption and misconduct. “Toothless tiger” is the characterisation of those operations in the local press.

The Judicial Commission’s annual report for 2019-20 reveals that it dismisses three-quarters of the cases it receives; no judge, magistrate or coroner has been reported to have been culpable and sanctioned.  Outside consultants engaged by the commission take one-quarter of the state money spent to run the commission; a sizeable share of that goes for what the report calls “media and communications advice”.

According to the commission’s report, there has never been a case before of a judge failing to keep, losing,  or destroying court records. The local media refuse to report this one.

Right: Justice Michelle Quigley is the Judicial Commission board member and head of jurisdiction to whom responsibility is vested for acting on the investigation now under way of one of her subordinate judges – in the event that the commission staff finds evidence to warrant it. In its operations over 2019-2020,  the commission issued no search warrants, no witness summons, no document production orders, and it held no hearings.  Out of a total of 252 complaints, 3 cases were referred upwards to the head of the juridiction in which the judge under investigation was serving; no outcome of these referrals has been reported. The commission spends one dollar  in eight of its consultants’ budget guiding press reporters to miss this point.   See the report,  pages 35 and 51.
